    Hi Hilary,

This error has been found and fixed! It will be available with the next Service Release (June 2006).

In addition, the support of .NET 2.0 is planned for one of the next Service Releases.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Wouter,

The security settings don’t seem to be the problem.

Does this error message also appear during creation of a new diagram or only while opening one of the samples?

Did you try with the newest version of Process Modeler?

    Regards,
    Tom

    Hi Simon,

    a) This is a known bug and has already been solved. It will be available in the upcoming Service Release (in a few weeks).

    b) The ConditionExpression is still changable with the AttributeExplorer. But you have to be in ‘Full View’ to see this attribute. To do that, simply press the button in the upper right corner of the AttributeExplorer (see attached image).

    Hope this helps

    Hi Julie,

Did you also try to restart the executable (pm20en.exe) and choose repair (instead of remove)?

If this didn’t help, try to execute the attached file (pm20_regcleaner.exe). This tool removes some Process Modeler registry entries, that allows you to reinstall the product. Simply start the tool and choose ‘Clean’. After this, try to restart the executable (pm20en.exe) .

    Hi Julie,

The uninstallation of Visio may have removed some registry entries of the Process Modeler. Therefore Process Modeler tries to reinstall these entries, but is unable to refind the installation package. This .msi file is contained within the downloaded Process Modeler executable (pm20en.exe or pm20en_dotnet.exe). Simply restart this executable again and choose repair.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Hi Marko,

Since you have already installed the .NET Framework 1.1, try to install the Process Modeler for Microsoft Visio™ WITHOUT the .NET Framework (3.25MB file)

    Hi Vinay,

You have to be sure, that the associated ‘Off-Page Connector’ has the same Id and is located within the same scope. That means, both shapes have to be in the same process/sub-process, but on different sheets.

Please refer to the example ‘Tap Process’, which was added to Build 101 of the Process Modeler. There you have an example of how to use the ‘Off-Page Connectors’.

    Hi Amir,

First, thank you for purchasing our product.

The ITpearls logo is protected from deletion. To delete it, right click the logo and choose ‘Format->Protection…’. Then simply uncheck the ‘From deletion’ flag. After this you should be able to delete the logo.

You said, it seems that nothing is functional. After creating a new business process diagram (even over start menu or with file->new in Visio), it should be displayed a dialog to ask for a process name (see attached picture). Does this dialog appears ? Beside this, in Visio their should be a menu called ‘Process’ on the 8th position.
If nothing happen, it is possible that you haven’t enabled macros in Microsoft Visio. How to enable macros depends on the Visio version. Please give us more information about your system (Operating system, Visio version, .net Framework)

The self-extracting exe extracts its files to a temporary directory and starts automatically the ‘Setup.exe’. Under odd circumstances, the self-extractor started the wrong ‘Setup.exe’ on your machine (it started cygwin setup). We solved this problem and made a new release.

Click Process Modeler and go to the download section to get the new release.

    Thanks :-)

    Hi Alessandro,

We don’t understand exactly what you mean with ‘wizard with cygwin screenshot’. Could you describe the problem in detail ? Beside this, tell us more about your configuration (OS, Visio version, .NET Framework version).

You have now also the possibility to attach a file to a post in this forum. Probably you can send us a screenshot of your problem (not >500KB), that would help alot.

    Best regards
